D. Construction was founded in 1982 with the vision to offer Will and Grundy Counties a premier heavy civil contractor to service multiple industries by providing safe and affordable projects.
Originally starting as an underground contractor, our construction services have expanded to include work on commercial buildings, water and wastewater plants, highway construction, nuclear security construction, heavy civil work for intermodal facilities, railway, plant maintenance, petrochemical plants and barge facilities.
D. construction has compiled a highly trained and motivated workforce through respected relationships with our unions over the last 30 years. Our extensive inventory of machines and equipment and experienced project team allows us to focus on getting the job done.
